Rochelle received her bachelor’s degree from Columbia College Chicago with a major in photography and a minor in journalism. In 2014 Rochelle studied Spanish at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Mexico in Mexico City. Upon returning to Denver, her hometown, Rochelle became very active in immigrant rights and continues to volunteer with Mi Familia Vota, Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition, and assisting with the Spanish speaking law clinic through Project Safeguard. Rochelle’s previous experience is with non-profit community health centers and the mortgage industry. Rochelle is interested in people, art, photography, foreign films, and remembering to appreciate nuestra tierra madre and the beautiful gift of life we’ve been given.
